The Harding University College of Business has announced the establishment of a $1M Student Managed Investment Fund. The fund was created to offer business students valuable experience in investment analysis and portfolio management.

Congratulations to the six students that were awarded funds from a rural loan program established by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. The program gives students the opportunity to receive a tuition loan that would not require repayment if they immediately go to work as a pharmacist in a rural Arkansas community following graduation. The students were selected by the Arkansas Rural Loan Scholarship Committee after an application and interview process. The Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy has established similar programs at both UAMS College of Pharmacy and Harding University College of Pharmacy.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Great American Conference announced the league's Players of the Week for the second week of the volleyball season. Arkansas Tech's Hunter Eshnaur and Amanda Milnick garnered the Offensive and Setter awards while Harding's Zoe Harding earned the Defensive honor.

Ninety students traveled to Chicago on April 6-9 as part of requirements for a world religions class. The trip was designed to enlighten students about people and practices of major living religious traditions. Students visited the Baha'I House of Prayer, the Hindu Temple Balaji, Islamic Foundation mosque, a Sikh Religious Society, Shabbat service at KAM Isaiah Israel Congregations, and Buddhists with Soka Gakkai International.

Students have been accepted for the spring 2017 semester.

Harding University inducted more than 70 students into the school's chapter of Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

Faculty members at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, nominated 67 students as 2015-16 Who's Who finalists.

On Nov. 15, 95 students were inducted in to Harding University's chapter of Alpha Chi Honor Society.

Students were selected for the 2015-16 Harding University women's ensemble Belle Canto.

Nearly 60 students were welcomed to the Harding University College of Pharmacy at the annual white coat ceremony in August.

At Harding University's annual white coat ceremony Aug. 8, 35 students were welcomed into the College of Allied Health to begin the physician assistant program.

On Saturday, April 20, 110 undergraduate and graduate students were inducted into Alpha Chi Honor Society.

Students of Harding University participated in an educational trip April 18-21 with the University's Living World Religions Bible class. More than 80 students toured various religious institutions in Dallas.

West Chicago resident Alexis Hosticka, a student journalist at Harding University, received first place honors from the Society of Professional Journalists as a winner of the 2012 Mark of Excellence Award for Region 12 on April 8.

Harding University's Chartered Financial Analyst Investment team from the Paul R. Carter College of Business placed 16th in the region championship March 20-22 in Toronto. They competed against 775 other finance teams from North and South America.

Harding University, competed with the University’s Quiz Bowl Team that placed third Saturday, Feb. 9 at the National Academic Quiz Tournament (NAQT). The tournament was held at Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo.
