The Great American Conference announced the league's Players of the Week for the third week of the volleyball season. Northwestern Oklahoma State's Jennifer Eubanks claimed the Offensive honor; Harding's Taylor Lake earned the Defensive accolade and Arkansas Tech's Amanda Milnick picked up her third-straight Setter award.

The Great American Conference announced the league's Players of the Week for the third week of the women's soccer season. Southwestern Oklahoma State's Alimata Rabo captured the Offensive award; Harding's Michelle Morgan earned the Defender accolade and East Central's Chloe Hull garnered the Goalkeeper honor.

Harding had 55 student-athletes earn Fall Academic All-Great American Conference.

Harding volleyball sophomore Zoe Hardin was the GAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

The Harding women's soccer team had six players named All-Great American Conference on Wednesday. Bethany Sutherland, Hannah Wilhelm and Melita Sutherland were named first team, Morgan Springborn and Carley Stevens were second team and Jessica Woessner was honorable mention.

Harding senior offensive lineman Eric Mitchell, junior offensive lineman Bryce Bray and senior defensive lineman Cordell Zalenski each earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 honors Thursday. It was the first time since 2010 that Harding placed three members on the academic all-district team.

Harding had five players earn All-Great American Conference in men's soccer.

Taylor Lake, a Harding sophomore from Overland Park, Kansas, was named Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Three members of the Harding women's track and field team and five members of the men's team recently received All-Academic honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association.

Sixty-one Harding University athletes recieved Academic All-Great American Conference honors for the winter/spring sports season. For student-athletes to be recognized on the Academic All-Conference team, they must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing (true freshmen and redshirt freshmen are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at the nominating institution. In addition, their grade-point average must be a minimum of 3.30 based on the 4.0 system. The GPA is cumulative for the athlete's entire collegiate career. Harding, an NCAA Division II school located in Searcy, Arkansas, led the 12-team conference with 61 student-athletes receiving Academic All-GAC during the winter/spring sports seasons and a total of 112 honorees during the 2015-16 season.
