Students awarded funds from the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy
Congratulations to the nine students that were awarded funds from a rural loan program established by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. The program gives students the opportunity to receive a tuition loan that would not require repayment if they immediately go to work as a pharmacist in a rural Arkansas community following graduation.
The students were selected by the Arkansas Rural Loan Scholarship Committee after an application and interview process. The Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy has established similar programs at both UAMS College of Pharmacy and Harding University College of Pharmacy.
