Cara Loy of Madison selected for Harding University Good News Singers

Cara Loy of Madison was selected for the 2013-14 Harding University Good News Singers. The vocal ensemble performs on and off campus to spread the gospel through song.

Loy, a senior early childhood education major, sings a variety of spiritual songs for churches and other organizations across the country. Specializing in harmony and soul-stirring arrangements, the Good News Singers lead worship and praise assemblies for all ages.

The repertoire of the group includes hymns, southern gospel songs, spirituals, devotional songs and original tunes. The 10-member group is open to all singers regardless of major, and each member receives a scholarship.
