Adrian Torrico recieves Academic All-Great American Conference honors

Adrian Torrico on the Harding University Men's Tennis team, recently received Academic All-Great American Conference honors. Torrico is a sophomore mechanical engineering major from Santa Cruz, Bolivia with a 3.96 GPA.
For student-athletes to be recognized on the Academic All-Conference team, they must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing (true freshmen and redshirt freshmen are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at the nominating institution. In addition, their grade-point average must be a minimum of 3.30 based on the 4.0 system. The GPA is cumulative for the athlete's entire collegiate career.
Harding, an NCAA Division II school located in Searcy, Arkansas, led the 12-team conference with 61 student-athletes receiving Academic All-GAC during the winter/spring sports seasons and a total of 112 honorees during the 2015-16 season.
